Sony Bravia ECO HDTV

The Bravia ECO HDTV is a big part of Sony's growing green initiative. Boasting super energy efficient features, the BRAVIA VE5-Series makes other TVs green with envy. The first hybrid HDTVs from Sony sports the same Full HD 1080p resolution and Motionflow 120Hz technology as the new V-Series models, but they also incorporate newly developed features that reduce power consumption.

Here at the booth, there is a compelling display that shows TVs connected to wattage meters and demonstrates just how much less power (up to 40% less) the ECO Bravia needs. We're also impressed with the set's pres ence sensor that enables the TV to cut consumption when no one is watching.
