Eliminate the need for lamp replacement
Since the projectors contain laser light sources lasting up to 20,000 hours and don't require lamp replacement, they are practical and cost-effective. The efficiency of the laser light sources means a reduction in resource usage, and the elimination of lamp maintenance makes them better suited for ceiling-mounted installations and the like.
Fast startup to save time and energy
Thanks to Sony's Z-Phosphor™ laser light source, the projector starts up in seconds and shuts down in an instant, saving both time and energy. The Auto Light Dimming mode saves further energy (up to 95% compared to full output) by reducing light output when the projector is on but not in use, while the Auto Picture Mode adjusts the light level to suit the projection.

Sony's latest 3LCD laser projectors offer comparable brightness and image quality to conventional UHP lamp projectors, but have the advantage of longer lamp life, easier maintenance, and faster start-up and shutdown.
