The following represents a possible solution to this issue, check if the movie colors are displayed correctly after completing each suggestion.
- Ensure the HDMI® cable is securely connected to the camcorder.
- Ensure the other end of the HDMI cable is connected securely to the HDMI input on the TV, or Audio/Video (A/V) receiver if one is being used.
- If the issue is not resolved, try connecting the HDMI cable to a different HDMI input - if available.
NOTE: If the issue is resolved using a different HDMI input, then the previous HDMI input may be faulty.
- If the camcorder is connected to an A/V receiver, try connecting it directly to the TV instead.
NOTE: If the issue is resolved when connected directly to the TV, then the HDMI cable between the A/V receiver and TV may be faulty. Or, there may be a service issue with the A/V receiver.
The troubleshooting steps listed above should resolve your issue. If you have completed all of the steps and the issue is not resolved, then the HDMI cable may need to be replaced or the camcorder may require service.
