How to back up image data located on the internal memory of the photo frame.

This solution provides information about how to back up image data to a Windows® computer, an Apple® Macintosh® computer, or a memory device.

Follow the steps below to back up image data to a computer using Windows computer:

NOTE: The screen displays in these instructions may vary depending on the operating environment that you are using.

  1. Remove any memory devices that have been inserted into the digital photo frame.
  2. Turn on the digital photo frame.

    NOTE: If the Demo Mode screen is displayed after the device is turned on, it means that there are no images saved in the device's internal memory. You therefore have no need to back up any images.

  3. Connect the device to the computer using a USB cable.
  4. Create a new folder on the computer.
  5. Go to My Computer.
  6. Open the Removable Disk icon that represents the photo frame.
  7. Open the new folder.
  8. Using the windows tools, choose Select All in the Removable Disk window.
  9. Using the windows tools, choose Copy in the Removable Disk window.
  10. Using the windows tools, choose Paste in the New Folder window.

    NOTE: Depending on the amount and size of the files it may take a few minutes for this process to complete.

Follow the steps below to back up image data to a computer using an Apple Macintosh computer:

  6. Open the new folder.
  7. Using the Edit tab, choose Select All in the Removable Disk window.
  8. Using the Edit tab, choose Copy in the Removable Disk window.
  9. Using the Edit tab, choose Paste in the new folder window.

    NOTE: Depending on the amount and size of the files it may take a few minutes for this process to complete.

Follow the steps below to back up image data to a memory card:

NOTE: Do not use the same memory card for the firmware update. If a memory card contains both the firmware update files and backed up images, the firmware may not be updated correctly.

  1. Turn on the digital photo frame.

    NOTE: If the Demo Mode screen is displayed after the device is turned on, it means that there are no images saved in the device's internal memory. You therefore have no need to back up any images.

  2. Insert the memory card in the memory card slot.
  3. Press the ENTER button.
  4. Press the MENU button.
  5. Using the up arrow or down arrow select All images.
  6. Press the ENTER button.
  7. Using the up arrow or down arrow select Export.
  8. Press the ENTER button.
  9. Using the up arrow or down arrow select the export device.
  10. Press the ENTER button.
  11. Using the up arrow or down arrow select Yes.
  12. Press the ENTER button.
