An Album data error message is displayed on the LCD screen.

This error message may display for the following reasons:

  • The battery was removed while data was being written onto the recording media.
  • The power was turned off while data was being written onto the recording media.
  • The USB connection was removed during USB transfer.

Attempt to resolve the error by following the steps below.

  1. On the side of the camera, press the HOME button.
  2. Move the control button to the right to select the Media Tools icon.
  3. Move the control button up or down to select General.
  4. Press the center of the control button.
  5. Move the control button down to select Check Album.
  6. Press the center of the control button.
  7. Move the control button up or down to select OK.
  8. Press the center of the control button.

    NOTE: Recovering data... displays on the LCD screen.

  9. After the recovery process finishes, turn the camera off and on again.

The troubleshooting steps listed above should resolve your issue. If you have completed all of the steps and the issue is not resolved, service may be required.
