In addition to the optical SteadyShot® function, in Active mode the camcorder compensates for camera shake in the rotation direction.

The image-processing engine of the camcorder uses special algorithms to correct the rotational skew of the image on the sensor. This causes the field of view to appear narrow.

NOTES:

  • Not all camera models have the SteadyShot settings, for further details check the instruction guide that came with the unit. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
  • The SteadyShot settings for each model may vary, check the instruction guide of your product.
