How can I create my own PDF files to transfer to the Reader Digital Book?

You can create PDF files for your Reader™ Digital Book by following the steps in the User's Guide to Creating PDFs for the Sony® Reader. After you have created a PDF document, you can import the document into the Reader for PC software .

IMPORTANT:Sony Readers are compatible with PDF version 1.5 and up. To see what PDF version your file is, do the following:

  1. Right click on the PDF file you created
  2. Select properties.
  3. Click on the PDF tab to view the version.

If you are not able to see the PDF version, open the file using Adobe Reader, click on File and select Properties. The information will be in the Advanced section on the Properties window.
