The image on the Internet TV appears black and white when connecting a device to the Video/Component input connection.

The screen may display a black and white picture when using the Video/Component input connection if the Internet TV did not automatically detect the type of connection used.

IMPORTANT:When using a composite cable, be sure to connect the yellow video cable to the green video port (Y) and the red and white audio cables to the Audio inputs (L) and (R).

Follow these steps to adjust the menu setting:

  1. Turn on the Internet TV.
  2. On the keypad remote control, press the Fn+1 buttons to enter the Settings menu.
  3. Press the down arrow button to select Video input.
  4. Press the ENTER button. Image
  5. Use the down arrow to select the Video/Component selection.
  6. Press the ENTER button.
  7. According to the type of connection used, select Video or Component.
  8. Press the ENTER button.
  9. Press the BACK button twice to exit the menu.
  10. If you are still getting the black and white picture, reboot the Internet TV .
  11. If you are still getting the black and white picture, try replacing the cables used or try using another device.
The troubleshooting steps listed above should resolve your issue. If you have completed all of the steps and the issue is not resolved, service may be required.
