Movies Scenes Recorded in Bright Light Don't Playback Smoothly
IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check the Applicable Products and Categories section of this article before starting these steps.
The shutter speed of the lens may increase automatically when shooting movies in direct natural or artificial light. This happens to maintain the correct exposure when shooting in bright environment. As a result, the movie scene may not appear smooth during playback. To minimize this from happening, follow these steps:
- Set the mode dial to
Movie.
- Select
Shutter Priority or
Manual Exposure to slow the shutter speed, or shoot with an ND filter to lower the brightness level.
