What is the SelectApp application and how is it used?

The SelectApp application is a Sony specific access point to the Google Play Store, and provides links to featured news articles about upcoming Sony applications and games, exclusive downloadable demos for those Sony applications and games, and news and featured articles about unique Sony content.

While the Play Store will be where you will want to go to see all available Android applications, the SelectApp icon is where you should visit first to see not just the best Apps for your Sony Tablet, but some special Apps and promotions that will be available no where else.

To make things simple, the SelectApp website is organized in to several categories:

• What's Hot - This category will pull the top items from all the other categories to let you quickly scan the latest applications and information.
• New Ideas - This category will include applications for things that you may never have thought you could do an a tablet, as well as quirky stuff that just doesn't fit easily into any other category.
• Featured Articles - This category will have just what it says - featured articles and news items regarding the latest and greatest Sony Tablet applications and information.
