- If you do not have one already, then you will need a set up either a wired or wireless Home Network and make sure your Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA®) Media Player or Client and your DLNA Media Server are both connected to the same network.
NOTES: Here are some sample instructions for network set-up that are typical for most networked devices:
Set up a DLNA Digital Media Server.
Make sure your photo, video, or audio file is a compatible format.
- The supported formats will vary by model. For model-specific information, refer to the supplied instructions manual for a list of supported format. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
- The file format needs to be supported by both the Media Server and the Client Device.
Set up the DLNA Player or Client Device.
The playback of media is initiated from the DLNA Client Device. Refer to the instructions or help files supplied with the DLNA Client device for information regarding media playback.
NOTE: Not all products are DLNA Certified devices. Visit the DLNA website for more information.
