What settings are required to capture the maximum continuous frames per second of the NEX camera?

    The following settings are required to capture the maximum continuous frames per second:

    For 3 frames per second:

    • Drive Mode: Continuous Adv.
    • Image size: L size (16M)
    • Picture quality: FINE
    • Shutter speed: Faster than 1/250 seconds
    • Focus: MF (Manual Focus) or AF-S (Single-shot AF) in AF (Autofocus)

    For 10 frames per second:

    • Drive Mode: Speed Priority Cont.
    • Image size: L size (16M)
    • Picture quality: FINE
    • Shutter speed: Faster than 1/250 seconds

    NOTES:

    • Autofocus and auto exposure are fixed at the first frame.
    • The number of frames may be reduced depending on the subjects and camera settings as well as image size, ISO setting, and if the Lens Comp:Distortion setting is activated.
