The Local Dimming feature refers to the ability of an LED TV to independently control backlighting for different parts of the screen. This allows the display to produce deeper black and higher contrast for scenes or images with a combination of dark and bright elements.
- The Local Dimming feature will only work when the Picture Mode setting is set to Standard. Refer to the instructions manual for information regarding how to adjust the Picture Mode or Local Dimming feature. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
- Not all LED TVs are supplied with the Local Dimming feature. To see if your TV has the Local Dimming feature, check the specifications.
