Follow this procedure to save a copy of a Web page so that it can be read offline at a later time.

IMPORTANT:

  • The ability to save a copy of a Web page so that it can be read offline is a feature specific to the Android version 4.0 (or later) operating system and is not available on Tablets that have not been updated to Android version 4.0 (or later).
  • Perform a system update to upgrade your tablet to the latest version of the Android operating system.
  1. On the desktop, tap the Home icon. Image
  2. In the upper-right corner of the desktop home screen, tap the Apps icon. Image
  3. In the Apps screen, tap the Browser icon. Image
  4. In the Browser screen, browse to the Web page you wish to save.
  5. While on the Web page you wish to save, tap the Menu icon, and then tap Save for offline reading. Image

The Web page will be saved and can be viewed later in the browser SAVED PAGES section. Follow these steps to access the browser SAVED PAGES section.

  1. On the desktop, tap the Home icon. Image
  2. In the upper-right corner of the desktop home screen, tap the Apps icon. Image
  3. In the Apps screen, tap the Browser icon. Image
  4. In the Browser screen, tap the Bookmarks icon. Image
  5. In the Bookmarks screen, tap the SAVED PAGES tab.
