The Browser displays a message that it has reached a tab limit.

After updating the tablet operating system you may see a You have reached your tab limit message in the Browser application when accessing some web sites. Follow these steps to resolve this issue.

  1. On the desktop, tap the Home icon. Image
  2. In the upper-right corner of the desktop home screen, tap the Apps & Widgets icon. Image
  3. In the Apps & Widgets screen, tap the Settings icon. Image
  4. In the Settings screen, tap to select Applications.
  5. In the Apps screen, tap to select the All tab. Image
  6. Under the All tab, scroll to locate and then tap to select the Browser application.
  7. In the Browser info screen, tap the Force Stop button.
  8. At the Force stop? prompt, tap OK.
  9. On the desktop, tap the Home icon.
  10. In the upper-right corner of the desktop home screen, tap the Apps & Widgets icon.
  11. In the Apps & Widgets screen, tap the Browser icon. Image
  12. In the Browser screen, tap the Menu icon, and then tap Settings. Image
  13. In the Browser Settings screen, tap Advanced.
  14. In the Advanced Settings screen, tap to add a check next to Enable JavaScript remove the check next to Enable memory limits. Image
  15. Tap Enable plug-ins and then tap to select Always on. Image

You should now be able to use the tablet Browser normally without receiving the message.
