This error message may occur on a mobile device if the access to the Photo application has been restricted. Normally it is caused if the Don't Allow option was chosen during the setup of the PlayMemories Mobile™ application. This prevents the pictures from being copied.


Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.

  1. On your mobile device, go into the Settings options.
  2. Select Privacy.
  3. Select Photos.
  4. Set PlayMemories to ON.

After making the changes above, the error message should be resolved and you can now copy your images.
