Can the audio line output level or volume from a camcorder be adjusted?

Applicable Products and Categories of This Article

Sony® camcorders with LCD screens have a volume control located either behind or on the outer edge of the LCD. This will only control the volume level of the internal speaker. There is not a function on the camcorder that allows adjusting the level of the audio line or output.

IMPORTANT: When connecting the S-Video out of a camcorder to a television, the red and white audio cables will also need to be connected to hear the audio.
