How to configure the Steady Sound volume control.

IMPORTANT:

  • The functionality of the Steady Sound volume control feature is dependent on the signal being sent by the broadcaster.
  • For additional model-specific instructions are required to perform this procedure, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the television. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
  • For some models, the Steady Sound volume control feature is only active for signals received through the VHF/UHF input on the television. Units connected to the television LINE INPUT connections may not be controlled by the Steady Sound volume control feature.
  1. Turn on the television.
  2. On the television remote control, press the Menu or Home button.
  3. Move the joystick [FIG. 1] or direction buttons to the left or right to select the Audio icon.
  4. Press down on the center of the joystick or Enter button.
  5. Move the joystick or direction arrows up or down to select Steady Sound.

    NOTE: The Steady Sound option may be grayed out when an Effect option is set. If the Steady Sound option is grayed out, set the Effect option to Off.

  6. Press down on the center of the joystick or Enter button.
  7. Move the joystick up or down to select ON or OFF.
  8. Press down on the center of the joystick or Enter button.
  9. Press the Menu or Home button.
