Follow this procedure to troubleshoot when a disc in the DVD recorder cannot be finalized.
IMPORTANT: The DVD recorder may not be able to finalize a disc if the disc was originally recorded on another recorder.
- Ensure the proper procedure for finalizing a disc is being followed.
- Ensure the disc is not already finalized.
- Cancel the Protect Disc feature.
- Attempt to finalize a different disc.
NOTE: If the issue is still unresolved after completing all of the troubleshooting steps, service may be required.
