A SYSTEM ERROR message may display on the camera if the files on the recording media have been copied or deleted repeatedly on a computer. It is recommended to backup the files on your computer, then format the recording media in the camera to resolve this issue.
WARNING:There is a risk of data loss. Formatting will erase all the files from the recording media. Always backup the files you want to keep on your computer before formatting.
If the SYSTEM ERROR message still displays after formatting the recording media in the camera, try using a different recording media. Otherwise, perform a power reset on the camera.
If the issue is still unresolved, service may be required.
