When headphones are connected, no sound is output through the headphones.

Follow this procedure to troubleshoot when there is no sound coming from one side of the headphones.

  1. Verify that the headphones are firmly plugged into the Phones jack on the front of the tape deck.
  2. Test the headphones on another device.
  3. Test another set of headphones on the tape deck.

If the issue is still unresolved, service may be required. Go to Product Repair.
