If the LocationFree Player™ software is not detecting the base station, check the following items:
- Verify that the base station is turned on.
- Verify that the base station is properly connected to the network.
NOTE: The Network indicator on the Base Station can be used to check the connection status. If the Base Station is connected properly, the Network indicator light will be illuminated and have a slight flicker. If the Network indicator is flashing, the Base Station is not connected properly.
- Verify your firewall is configured to allow the LocationFree software access to the network.
NOTE: To properly configure your firewall, it may be necessary to consult the help files for the software or the software manufacturer for assistance.
