How to add additional language support for the keyboard.

Applicable Products and Categories of This Article

  1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
  2. In the Control Panel window, click Clock, Language, and Region.
  3. In the Clock, Language, and Region window, click Regional and Language Options.
  4. In the Regional and Language Options window, click the Keyboard and Languages tab.
  5. On the Keyboard and Languages tab, click the Change Keyboards... button.
  6. In the Text Services and Input Languages window, in the Installed services box, click the Add button.
  7. In the Add Input Language window, double-click the desired language to expand the selection.
  8. Under the selected language, double-click Keyboard and then click to check the box next to the desired keyboard.

    NOTE: To view all the available keyboard options click Show More...

  9. In the Add Input Language window, click the OK button.
  10. In the Text Services and Input Languages window, click the Apply button.
  11. Restart the computer.
