There is no audio or video from the stereo receiver when an HDMI connection is used.

If you are not able to hear any audio or video from the Audio/Video (A/V) stereo receiver, there may be an issue with the hook up or there may be an incorrect setting. Follow these steps to try to resolve this issue:

  1. Make sure the A/V receiver is set to the appropriate HDMI® input to receive the HDMI signal from the connected playback device.
  2. Verify the playback device is configured properly to output a signal through the HDMI connection.
  3. Try using a different HDMI cable.
