The DVD menu cannot be accessed and will not display.

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot if the DVD menu cannot be accessed and does not display on the TV screen.

  1. Ensure a DVD has been inserted into the player.
  2. If the DVD player has a VIDEO OFF feature, ensure it is disabled.

    NOTES:

    • To disable this feature, press the VIDEO OFF button on the front of the DVD player until the VIDEO OFF indicator is no longer illuminated.
    • Not all DVD players have this feature. For model specific information, check the specifications or supplied operations guide. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
  3. Attempt to access the DVD menu.
  4. Ensure the television is tuned to the appropriate video input to receive the DVD signal.
  5. If the DVD menu still does not display, remove the disc from the player.
  6. Insert another DVD into the player.
  7. Attempt to access the DVD menu.

NOTE: If the issue is still unresolved after completing all of the troubleshooting steps, service may be required.
