Only certain discs or tracks on a CD are being played, while the others are being skipped or will not play.

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot this issue.

  1. If the CD player has a Program Play, Shuffle play or a Loop feature, make sure that the feature is disabled.
  2. Play different discs to see if the issue can be duplicated.

    NOTE: If a CD-R is being played, then there could be problems with the way the tracks were recorded. Compatibility with all CD-Rs cannot be guaranteed. Try playing a store-bought disc.

  3. Try playing the disc that you are having problems with in a different player to see if the same symptoms occur. If so, the issue is with the disc, not the player.

If the issue is still unresolved, service may be required.
