When the print cartridge error light illuminates or an error indicator is displayed, follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
- Turn off the printer.
- Remove the print cartridge.
IMPORTANT: Use the eject lever when releasing the print cartridge from the printer.
- Ensure the proper print cartridge is being used with the correct paper type and size.
- Ensure there is no tape slack in the print cartridge.
- Reinsert the print cartridge into the printer.
- Turn on the printer.
If the issue is still unresolved after completing all of the troubleshooting steps, service may be required.
