Follow this procedure to troubleshoot no sound when playing back a tape on the SwivelScreen™ LCD of the camcorder.
IMPORTANT: Only camcorders with a SwivelScreen LCD Display have the ability to playback audio without the use of headphones.
NOTE: For model specific instructions for these procedures, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the product. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
- Turn up the audio volume on the camcorder.
- Playback a different tape in the camcorder.
- Verify that there are no devices connected to the green headphone jack on the camcorder.
If the issue is still unresolved after completing all of the troubleshooting steps, service may be required.
