Enhanced ePub3 information for Reader Digital Book.

The ePub3 content is a new industry standard file format that allows you to enjoy embedded media and interactivity within the book itself when viewed on compatible Android™ tablets and smartphones.

A book that includes enhanced content features, such as embedded video or read along, will only be supported on Android devices.


NOTES:

  • Enhanced content requires downloading an extension available for free at the Google Play™ store.
  • The Reader™ App requires Android Operating System version 2.2 or later.
  • Reader Extension requires Android OS version 2.3 or later to read enhanced content.

Some limitations of Enhanced ePub3 content are:

  • No text selection.
  • No highlight selection.
  • No search Word/Wiki/Google®.
  • No background option (day, night, paper).
