How to remotely control the camcorder using a smartphone.

    IMPORTANT:

    • PlayMemories Mobile™ must be installed on your smartphone. Visit the Google Play™ store or App Store™ on your smartphone to download and install the app.
    • The ADP-WL1M wireless adaptor (sold separately) must be attached.
    1. Turn ON the camcorder.
    2. Select MENU on the screen.
    3. Select CAMERA/MIC.
    4. Select Shooting Assist.
    5. Select Ctrl with Smartphone.

      NOTE:       The SSID and PASSWORD display on the screen of the camcorder.

    For Android™ devices:

    1. Start PlayMemories Mobile on the smartphone.
    2. Select the SSID displayed on the camcorder.
    3. Type in the PASSWORD.
    4. Start PlayMemories Mobile on the smartphone.

     

    For Apple® iOS devices:

    1. Open the Settings menu.
    2. Select Wi-Fi.
    3. Select the SSID displayed on the camcorder.
    4. Type in the PASSWORD.
    5. Start PlayMemories Mobile on the smartphone.
