Error: Please check your Internet connection appears and unable to connect to the Internet when IPv6 is enabled.

This error message may appear if the Internet Service Provider (ISP) or the website is not compatible with Internet Protocol Version 6  (IPv6).

For Android™ TVs

  1. Check the Network status.

    1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Under the NETWORK & ACCESSORIES category, select Network.
    4. Select Advanced settings.
    5. Select Network status.
  2. If the Internet Access field displays IPv4:OK IPv6:Failed, set IPv6 to Off by following these steps.

    1. Press the HOME button on the remote.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Under the NETWORK & ACCESSORIES category, select Network.
    4. Select Advanced settings.
    5. Select IPv6 setup.
    6. For Do you want to enable IPv6?, select No.

For models released in 2014

Set the IPv6 to Off by following these steps.

  1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Network.
  4. Select IPv6 Setup.
  5. Select Set up IPv6 connection.
  6. Select No.
