Blue Dot on the Video

Video cameras may exhibit a blue dot in the picture when you shoot against light or sunlight. Different cameras can reproduce this easily and it's known as Ghost or Ghost effect.

You can watch an example of the blue dot at the 22 second point of the YouTube™ video below. If you look on the tree trunk, the blue dot or ghost effect is due to the reflection between the surface of lenses.

Although lens coat is useful to minimize the ghost effect, we can't remove the effect of the blue dot or ghost in all instances.
