Do not turn off the Audio/Video (AV) receiver or disconnect it from the AC power outlet while performing the update. If the AV receiver turned off while updating the firmware, turn the AV receiver on and start the update again.
If the AV receiver is still unresponsive after several attempts to do the update, try performing a cold reset or restore the AV receiver to the factory settings. For instructions how to do the reset the unit, check the operations guide that came with the product. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
- Loss of power during the installation of the software update may cause the AV receiver to be unresponsive or to require repair.

- If the update process succeeds, you should see the message UPDATING on the front panel change to COMPLETE.
