The wireless LAN indicator flashes every second on the display panel of the AV receiver.

The wireless LAN indicator wireless LAN indicator on the display panel of the AV receiver will flash for 30 minutes after turning the power on if the network setup is not yet complete.

To stop the wireless LAN indicator from flashing, follow the procedures below.

  • Perform the network setup.
    1. Turn on the wireless LAN router or access point.
    2. Turn on the AV receiver.
    3. Select the appropriate procedure below depending on the type of wireless LAN router that you are using.
      • Routers with Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button
        1. Using the remote control of the AV receiver, press the HOME button.
        2. Select Setup.
        3. Select Network Settings.
        4. Select Internet Settings.
        5. Select Wireless Setup (built-in).
        6. Select Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).
        7. Select Start.
        8. Press the WPS button on the access point.

        The receiver will start connecting to the network. Once the network setting is completed, the wireless LAN icon wireless LAN indicator lights up on the display panel.

      • Routers without WPS button

        IMPORTANT: Get the following information in advance from the operating instructions supplied with the wireless LAN router or access point. You can also contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to get these information.

        • The network name (SSID) of the wireless LAN router or access point
        • The security key (password) for the network.
        1. Select Setup.
        2. Select Network Settings.
        3. Select Internet Settings.
        4. Select Wireless Setup (built-in).
        5. Select the network name (SSID).
        6. Enter the security key, passphrase, or password.
        7. Select Enter.

        The receiver will start connecting to the network. Once the network setting is completed, the wireless LAN icon wireless LAN indicator lights up on the display panel.

      • When manually inputting a fixed IP address
        1. Using the remote control of the AV receiver, press the HOME button.
        2. Select Setup.
        3. Select Network Settings.
        4. Select Internet Settings.
        5. Select Wireless Setup (built-in).
        6. Select New connection registration.
        7. Select Manual registration.
        8. Follow the on-screen instructions.
      • Using a (WPS) PIN code
        1. Using the remote control of the AV receiver, press the HOME button.
        2. Select Setup.
        3. Select Network Settings.
        4. Select Internet Settings.
        5. Select Wireless Setup (built-in).
        6. Select New connection registration.
        7. Select (WPS) PIN Method.
        8. Follow the on-screen instructions.

      NOTE: If the wireless set up cannot be completed, setup a wired connection by connecting a LAN cable to the AV receiver.

  • If you are using an Apple® mobile device running iOS®8 or later, follow these steps:
    1. Put the Apple mobile device near to the receiver.
    2. Open the Wi-Fi® settings on the Apple mobile device.
    3. Select the receiver displayed as New AirPlay Speaker and proceed with settings.
    4. Make sure the Apple mobile device and the receiver are connected on the same Wi-Fi configuration.

If setup fails, perform the factory reset to clear the network setting and then start the network setup again.

You can also stop the wireless LAN indicator from flashing by performing any of the following. However, the next time you turn the power on, the indicator will still flash for 30 minutes.

  • Select the Screen mirroring function.
  • Connect a Bluetooth® device to the AV receiver.
