Unable to use a cast-enabled app on the home speakers or other audio device.

Verify the following prior to attempting to use the Google® Cast feature:

  • Casting is supported on Android® devices, iOS® devices, Windows® devices and Mac® OS X® devices.
  • Casting is available on Android devices running Android 4.4.2 or higher.
  • Some devices running Android 4.4.2 or higher have been optimized for casting, so your experience may vary depending on the device you are using.
  • Make sure that your Android device is not running on Power Saving Mode. This can limit the processing power of your device which could affect the performance of the Cast feature.

After making sure of the above, follow these steps to begin using the Google Cast feature .
