Since the lens of the Action Cam is designed to shoot in very wide angles, it is normal for the sides of the pictures and videos to appear distorted. This is also known as a fish eye effect. To reduce the fish eye effect, the camera can be set to shoot at 120 degree angle.
- Depending on the camera model, the angle can be changed by turning on the SteadyShot feature or by setting the Field Angle or Angle Setting. To know how to change or adjust these features, check the specifications or supplied operations guide. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
- A video or photo editing software can also help in reducing the fisheye effect further.
