Wireless Speaker Isn't Responding to Hand Gestures

Follow these steps if the speaker is not responding to hand gestures.

  1. Bring your hand closer to the gesture control sensor.
  2. Turn off the peripheral devices.
  3. Your wireless speaker may be in the HOLD state. Press and hold the HOLD button on the bottom of the speaker for three seconds or longer.

  4. Make sure that you have initiated Initiate the Google Assistant gesture functions.
    Passing your hand over the gesture control sensor from the back of the speaker to the front of the speaker is the equivalent to saying OK Google to the speaker. The speaker would now be ready for other hand gesture commands.
