There is no sound through the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) after performing a system software update

    After performing an system software update, the Blu-ray Disc™ player will turn off and on again. If afterwards there is no sound through the HDMI® ARC, resetting the Blu-ray Disc player to the factory default settings should resolve the issue.

    Note: The Resetting option is available in the Setup menu.
