I have a Bluetooth Peripheral Device with error (Code 28) in Device Manager.

A Bluetooth Peripheral Device error Code 28 indicates there is no driver for the specific device.

This error can occur after pairing a Bluetooth device if the operating system could not find the driver software it needs to make the device work, or some of the device functions usable. Image

The device will keep attempting to install itself even if the computer Bluetooth capability is turned off because the computer keeps a record of paired devices. To stop this from happening, perform the following steps to remove the Bluetooth device completely.

    1. Click the Start button and then click Devices and Printers.
    2. In the Devices and Printers window, click the Bluetooth Device, and then click Remove Device. Image
    3. Restart the computer.

IMPORTANT: Once the device has been completely removed, you can once again attempt to pair the device. If error still occurs, contact the device manufacturer for the appropriate driver.
