Important Notes

  • To perform this update you must have a previous version of OpenMG™ already installed. This OpenMG update WILL erase your existing music database.

  • BEFORE INSTALLING THIS UPDATE, the following additional files must be downloaded and placed in the same folder as the OMG22UPD.EXE file. If these additional files are not available, the OpenMG update will not install:

  • OMG22UPD.R00 (10.0 MB)
  • OMG22UPD.R01 (10.0 MB)
  • OMG22UPD.R02 (10.0 MB)
  • OMG22UPD.R03 (9.08 MB)


  • To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
  • It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

Download & Install


Download and Installation Instructions

  1. Download the OMG22UPD.EXE, OMG22UPD.R00, OMG22UPD.R01, OMG22UPD.R02, and OMG22UPD.R03 files to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  2. Go to the directory where the files were downloaded and double-click the OMG22UPD.EXE file to begin the installation.
  3. At the "WinRAR self-extracting archive" window, click the "Install" button.
    NOTE: A new folder named "omg22upd" is created and the installation files are extracted to that folder.
  4. Double-click to open the "omg22upd" folder, and then double-click the "Setup.exe" file.
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions to update the OpenMG™ software.
    NOTE: If prompted to uninstall OpenMG Jukebox during the update, click "Yes".
    NOTE: If prompted to remove files during the update, click "Ok".
  6. Follow the remaining instructions to complete the OpenMG software update.
Confirm a Successful Installation
After completing the installation, please confirm that the application was upgraded properly.
  1. Start the OpenMG™ Jukebox application.
  2. On the menu bar, click "Help" and then click "About OpenMG Jukebox".
  3. Make sure that the version is "OpenMG Jukebox Version 2.2.06.10050".
