  1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
  2. Download the EP0000550573.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the EP0000550573.exe file to begin the installation.
  4. At the "User Account Control" window, click "Yes".
  5. At the "Alps Pointing-device for Microsoft® Windows® 7" screen, click "Next".
  6. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Accept" to continue with the installation.
  7. At the "Welcome to the Device Driver Installation Wizard" window, click "Next".
  8. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Accept" then click "Next".
  9. At the "Completing the Device Driver Installation Wizard" window, click "Finish".
  10. At the "You must restart your computer to apply these changes" window, click "Restart Now".

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Alps Pointing-device for VAIO driver is complete.
