The headphones do not charge (LinkBuds, LinkBuds UC)
Follow these steps to troubleshoot why the Linkbuds do not charge:
- Take the charging case to a room with an ambient temperature between 15 °C and 35 °C (59 °F - 95 °F), and charge it again.
- The issue is resolved
- The issue was caused by the ambient temperature being too high or too low.
- The issue is not resolved
- Go to step 2.
- Use the supplied USB Type-C™ cable, to connect the charging case to a USB AC adapter or computer, and check if the case is charging.
- The charging can be completed
- Use the USB Type-C cable supplied with the product. Charging may not be possible with a commercially-available cable or a USB hub.
- The charging can't be completed
- Disconnect the USB Type-C cable from the charging case and go to step 3.
- Clean the charging port of the linkbuds, and check the indicator status on the charging case.
Note: Refer to the How to care for the headphones article.- The indicator lights up in green for about three seconds

The headphones are fully charged. Wear the headphones, establish a Bluetooth® connection to the device, and check if you can hear sound from the connected device. If you can't hear the sound, refer to the There is no sound, or the sound is only heard from one side of the headphones article.- The indicator lights up in orange for about three seconds
The remaining battery is low. Charge the linkbuds for about 30 minutes using the supplied USB Type-C cable, and go to step 4.- The indicator flashes twice in orange
The abnormal temperature or some other issue prevented charging. Go to step 5.- The indicator doesn't light up
Go to step 6.
- After charging is complete, establish a Bluetooth® connection to the device, and check if the headphones can be operated normally.
- The Linkbuds can be operated normally
- The charging port of the charging case may have been dirty.
Note: Regular cleaning is recommended to prevent issues with charging. - The Linkbuds can't be operated normally
- Go to step 9.
- Set the earbuds in the charging case, connect the charging case using the supplied USB Type-C cable, and check the indicator of the charging case again.
- The indicator lights up in orange when charging starts
The headphones are in the process of charging. Wait until the headphones are fully charged.- The indicator flashes twice in orange
The abnormal temperature or some other issue prevented charging. Go to step 9.- The indicator flashes three times in orange
The abnormal temperature or some other issue prevented the charging. Go to step 9.- The indicators do not light up
Go to step 6.
- Try the following procedure, and check if the charging can be completed.
- Make sure that the ear-fitting supporters are properly attached to the earbuds.
Note: If the ear fitting supports are not properly attached, the charging case and earbuds can't contact one another, and the charging may fail. Align the protruding part of the earbuds with the cutout on the fitting supporter (A). Make sure to insert the fitting supporter completely.
- Set the Linkbuds into the charging case, and start charging.
Note: Make sure the left and right headset units are inserted into the correct sides. - Remove the Linkbuds from the charging case, and check if the indicator lights up in orange for about three seconds.
- The charging can be complete
- The issue may have been caused by how the ear fitting supporters were attached or placed into the charging case.
- The charging can't be complete
- Go to step 7.
- Make sure that the ear-fitting supporters are properly attached to the earbuds.
- Check if you can charge a different device with the same AC adapter or USB port.
Use the same AC adapter or USB port on the computer to charge a different mobile device or product.- The mobile device or product is charging
- Go to step 8.
- The mobile device or product is not charging
- The AC adapter or USB port may not be working. Contact the manufacturer.

Clean the charging port on the charging case, and charge the case again.
If dust or dirt is in or around the charging port, it may not charge properly. Remove the dust or dirt with a soft, dry cloth before charging.
- The charging can be completed
- The charging port of the charging case may have been dirty.
Note: Regular cleaning is recommended to prevent issues with charging. - The charging can't be completed
- The Linkbuds may malfunction and require repair.  Go to Product Repair.

Initialize the Linkbuds.
Note: Initialization returns the Linkbuds to the factory settings, and all Bluetooth pairing information is deleted.Watch this video or refer to the Initializing the Linkbuds to restore factory settings or Initializing the LinkBuds UC to restore factory settings page for instructions:
- The issue is resolved
- The issue may have been caused by a temporary malfunction of the Linkbuds.
- The issue is not resolved
- The Linkbudss may malfunction, and service may be required.  Go to Product Repair.
