Error 9353 appears on the Amazon Video app of the Android TV.

An error 9353 may appear when you launch the Amazon® Video app of the Android TV™. This error started to occur after updating the software of the TV to its latest version.

To fix this issue, follow the steps below.

  1. Using the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Under the TV category, select Apps.

  4. In the Apps screen, select System apps.
  5. Select Amazon Video.

  6. In the Amazon Video Clear data screen, select OK.
  7. Restart the Android TV.

    1. Using the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Under the TV category, select About.
    4. In the About screen, select Restart.
    5. In the Restart Now? screen, select Yes.

      NOTE: The Android TV shuts down, wait for it to power on. Then, try the Amazon Video app once again.
