How to use System Restore to create a restore point.

    Follow this procedure to use System Restore to create a restore point using the Windows® XP operating system.

    1. Click the Start button, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and click System Restore.
    2. In the System Restore window, click Create a restore point.
    3. Click the Next button.
    4. In the Restore point description box, type a description for the restore point.
    5. Click the Create button.
    6. In the Restore Point Created window, click the Close button.
