How to install additional language packs.
Follow this procedure to add additional language support.
IMPORTANT:- To use Multilanguage User Interface (MUI) functionality in Microsoft® Internet Explorer, Address Book, and Outlook® Express software, upgrade to Windows® XP Professional operating system.
- MUI is supported in Microsoft® Office 2000 and Office XP for both Windows® XP Home and Professional operating system.
- Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel .
- In the Control Panel window, under Pick a category , double-click the Date, Time, Language and Regional Properties icon.
- In the Date, Time, Language and Regional Properties window, under Pick a task , click Add other languages .
- In the Regional and Language Options window, click the Language tab.
- On the Languages tab, click the Details button.
NOTE: To install additional language packs, on the Languages tab, in the Supplemental language support box, click to select the desired support option.
- In the Text Services and Input Languages window, in the Installed services box, click the Add button.
- In the Add input language window, under Input language: , click the down arrow , then click to select the desired language.
- Under Keyboard layout/IME: , click the down arrow , then click to select the desired language.
- Click the OK button.
- In the Text Services and Input Languages window, click the Apply button.
- Restart the computer.
