Error: VAIO Content folder setting is not installed
If, after upgrading to the Windows® 7 Operating System using the Sony® upgrade kit, some of the VAIO® applications that came with the computer are no longer present or display a VAIO Content folder setting is not installed message when accessed, it is possible that the Clean install option was selected.
If you want to continue to use the VAIO applications that came with the computer, install the Windows 7 operating system using the Sony upgrade disk with the Upgrade option and not the Clean install option. If you have already installed the Windows 7 operating system using the Clean install option, you will need recover the computer to the originally installed operating system and then reinstall the Windows 7 Operating System with the Upgrade option. Using the Upgrade option will preserve all of the originally installed VAIO applications.
NOTE: The following VAIO applications will no longer be present or accessible if the Clean install option is selected when using the Sony upgrade kit to install the Windows 7 Operating System:
