Follow these steps to configure the operating system to show all files and folders.
- Open the File Explorer window.
NOTE: Because the File Explorer is a traditional Windows Desktop application, if you were not already there, the interface will change to the Desktop and a File Explorer window will open.
- In the File Explorer window, click View.
- On the View ribbon, click to put a check in the box next to Hidden items.
- Click the X in the upper-right corner to close the Libraries window.
All files and folders on the computer will now be available to be viewed.
