Set up the Wi-Fi Direct feature for 2016 LCD TV models

This information provides the steps to set up the Wi-Fi Direct feature for 2016 LCD TV (non Android TV™ models).
- Enable the built-in Wi-Fi of your TV:
- On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Select System Settings.
- Select Set-up.
- Select Network.
- Select Built-in Wi-Fi.
- Select On.
- Turn on the Wi-Fi Direct feature of your TV:
- Press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Select System Settings.
- Select Set-up.
- Select Network.
- Select Wi-Fi Direct.
- Select On.
- Display the SSID and WPA key of the TV:
Note: The SSID and the WPA key displayed on your TV are used when connecting a Wi-Fi Direct device to your TV.- Press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Select System Settings.
- Select Set-up.
- Select Network.
- Select Wi-Fi Direct Settings.
- Press the Options button on the TV remote.
- Select Manual.
- Select Other Method.
- The SSID (Service Set Identifier) and the WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) key will display on the TV screen.
- When connecting a Wi-Fi Direct compatible device to your TV, select the SSID of your TV and enter the WPA key displayed on the TV screen as the password.
- If the connection is successful, the message Wi-Fi device is connected will appear on the TV screen.
- For details on the device you're connecting to your TV, refer to the manual supplied with that device.
