The Adjust Brightness Automatically box in the VAIO Control Center Display tab is grayed out.
To troubleshoot this issue, download and install all available driver, system and application updates from the Sony® Support website.
Downloads are posted on your model support page.
Once all available driver, system and application updates have been installed, check the VAIO® Control Center to see if the box next to Adjust Brightness Automatically is available.
If the issue is not resolved, follow the appropriate operating system procedure below to uninstall and then reinstall the video device driver from the Device Manager, and then restart the computer.
