Google Play Store app can't be downloaded or updated on your mobile phone
It's important to note that Android apps' availability can vary by country. If you're having trouble locating a specific app, it's advisable to contact the app developer for assistance. Additionally, you can take several troubleshooting steps if you can't access the Google Play Store app.
If the Google Play™ store app can't be opened.
- Restart your device.
- Press and hold the Power button.
- Tap Power off or Restart.
- If your device doesn't restart, press and hold the power button + volume up button for 10 seconds until your device turns on again.
- Verify that your mobile phone network (mobile data or Wi-Fi®) is functioning properly.
- Perform a Clear Data and Clear Cache for Google Play Store.
- Update your device's firmware. Make sure the latest version of firmware is installed on your device.
Note: Your Google Play Store app could have been disabled as well.
To enable Google Play Store app
If the Google Play store apps can't be downloaded or updated.
- Please confirm whether your mobile phone's Network (Mobile data or Wi-Fi®) works normally. If it is, check the status icon to see if the data and Wi-Fi signal is ok.
- Clear your phone's storage and data.
